Engineering on Australian Synchrotron Beamlines

As with most synchrotrons around the world, the beamlines at the Australian Synchrotron are the culmination of years of design and innovation.

As a facility, we have drawn on knowledge from around the world, as well as making heavy use of local expertise in the design and fabrication of our beamlines. This includes much of the software and electronics required to control these complex systems.

The engineering talent at the Australian Synchrotron is headed by David Tokell.
