Greg LeBlanc manages the operation of the accelerators and the Accelerator Science Program.

Originally from California, Greg studied engineering physics at Lunds Tekniska Hogskola in Sweden and began research in accelerator physics at MAX-lab. He worked at Stanford Radiation Research Laboratory as a visiting scientist and a member of the SPEAR3 design report team. He returned to MAX-lab and led the MAX Wiggler project before leaving MAX-lab in 2003 to join the Australian Synchrotron as lead accelerator physicist heading up the design specification, installation and commissioning of the synchrotron and developing the accelerator physics group.
