The 2009 X-ray Science Gordon Research Conference (GRC) Meeting will be held at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, USA, 2-7 August 2009.

Topics currently under consideration include:

• x-ray scattering /spectroscopy under extreme conditions
• use of coherent x-rays for imaging and studies of dynamics
• x-rays in biology, life, energy and environment science
• dynamics by pump and probe technique
• inelastic x-ray scattering
• new techniques / optics, detectors and others.
