The 19th Australian Institute of Physics Congress incorporating the 35th Australian Conference on Optical Fibre Technology will be the biggest and most diverse scientific meeting of the Australian physics calendar. It will attract 700 – 1000 delegates and will involve most active groups in physics from around the country.

Groups represented will include:

• State and Federal institutes (CSIRO, DSTO, ANSTO, Australian Synchrotron)
• Teachers and students
• Hospitals
• A diverse range of industry sectors (manufacturing, telecommunications, biomedicine, defence, transport, electronics)
