ANSTO Board member Professor Judy Raper and CEO Adi Paterson have been named among Australia’s most influential engineers.

Engineers Australia magazine named Professor Raper and Dr Paterson in its 2015 Top 100 Most Influential Engineers in Australia list.
Professor Raper’s inclusion is her third consecutive appearance on the annual list of most influential engineers.
The magazine cited Dr Paterson’s role in leading ANSTO’s portfolio of “nuclear businesses, key landmark infrastructure and user services for industry and academia”.
The presence of Dr Paterson and Professor Raper on the list underlines ANSTO’s strong focus on engineering, which includes a commitment to programs which foster and develop the next generation of engineers.
ANSTO recently entered a partnership with the University of New South Wales as the principal sponsor of its Women in Engineering (WIE) Society.
The society aims to support engineering graduates by building strong industry connections and providing career options and employment opportunities.
